I had a great experience learning with Tony. I passed my driving test on the first attempt thanks to his clear instructions and calm teaching style. He was also very helpful when I needed a last minute lesson before the test. Very supportive and professional throughout. Highly recommended!
I took a pre-test session with Tony, and it was a really helpful experience. He carefully checked all my mistakes and explained everything clearly. He was calm, funny, and serious at the same time, which made the session comfortable and productive. You can tell he is a very experienced and knowledgeable person in this field. I didn’t end up taking full classes with him because he was super busy at the time, but I wanted to clarify that even that one guidance session made a big difference. Thanks to his advice and support, I passed my test on the first attempt. I’m truly grateful for his guidance and would definitely recommend him to anyone preparing for their test.

Cannot recommend Carmel enough! She was absolutely fantastic and such a lovely woman! I can’t overstate how much my confidence on and understanding of the road improved thanks to her. After a few failed attempts, I passed my test today and that is due to the corrections she gave me in the two lessons/pretests she took me for. Thank you so much Carmel!⭐️
I passed my driving test on my first attempt, and I couldn't have done it without Tony! He is an amazing instructor - patient, encouraging, and very professional. Also Carmel, she did one of my lessons. She is also very professional and patient, Their clear guidance and calm approach helped me gain confidence behind the wheel. I'm really grateful for their support throughout my 6 lessons. Highly recommend them to anyone who wants to learn driving and pass the test with confidence!
After many attempts, I tried this driving school and I finally passed my test after a few pre-tests with Tony. He was calm and helped build my confidence. I would recommend him to any new learners trying to pass.

I had just failed my test at Maplehouse and Tony introduced himself to me, and shared his number so that for my next test he’d book me in for a pre-test and help me get ready. I contacted him but he was unavailable then so he referred me to his instructor Carmel. With inly 3 lessons with Carmel in the span of 5 days I was able to correct all bad things I had learnt about driving and learn better methods to further help me. With this help I was finally able to pass my test at Mulhuddart.

Passed my test this morning thanks to Tony. I would highly recommend him to anyone learning to drive. An absolute gent, who puts you at ease from the first time you get in the car. Full of practical help and tips. If you feel nervous about driving or you are an older person driving for the first time Tony is the man.

Just passed my test first time this morning after completing all my lessons with Tony. Tony has been great to me throughout these lessons, I literally did not know anything about a car before these lessons. I thought I’d never be able to drive a car in general, let alone a manual. I felt so comfortable with Tony, he is so friendly and funny. He is extremely patient, supportive and encouraging. I would not recommend anyone else!
Was driving on a L plate on and off for years until i started driving with tony. An absolute legend who got me to past my test first time.

From my very first meeting of Tony for that first lesson I was put immediately at ease. He is so friendly and welcoming and most importantly calm. Learning to drive with him was more like sitting in the car with a friend and half the time I didn’t realise I was learning so much. Even just the way he would say things to get you to remember to do something or check your mirrors stuck with me even now. Thanks to Tony I passed first time and recommended him to everyone around the area. Thanks again Tony! See you around 🙂

I just passed my first driving test with A-Z. Tony is an amazing instructor. Felt comfortable in the car with him from day 1, never an issue making a mistake he finds a funny way for you to remember not to do it again. Makes everything easy to understand, and gives you a good laugh along the way to getting your full license! cant thank him enough. He also nailed my route in the pre-test.

I passed my driving test the other day on my first try with Tony as my instructor. I would definitely recommend Tony to anyone who is learning. I had another Driving Instructor for my first two lessons and I didn’t learn much from him and he made me feel nervous after that I contacted Tony. Tony made me feel comfortable and confident. 1st Time Passing my test after only 18 lessons 8 months Driving Experience! From shaking at the wheel to driving with ease it could only of been done with Tony. Family Friends and Colleagues all recommend him for his reputation. All thoes reading this id recommend a pre test or two as Tony knows alot of roots!

I passed my test first time with Tony!! 😀 In the new test center in blanchardstown – amazing instructor from the first lesson right till the last one & always gave clear instructions & kept me calm and at ease in the car.

Thanks to Tony, I finally passed my driving test after 6 years, 2 babies and 2 failed tests. Tony is a calm and focused instructor, and puts me at ease with the wheel. I have driven for years on the left hand side all my life, so I had to re-set my mind. He covers all the questions I raised, and the tricky ones as I was not used to having round-about rules from where I am from.
Tony is the best driving instructor ever. He is really patient, teaches you how to drive and challenges you to do better each time. He was a great support while I was learning to drive and is the best driving instructor in Ireland. I couldn’t recommend him enough. Thanks to Tony I am now a confident driver – you legend! Thank you for making learning how to drive really enjoyable 🙂
So yesterday i passed my test first time all thanks to tony!
When tony first met me i was a very nervous driver, but tony done really well with helping me get over my nerves and become a confident driver and i wouldnt have passed my test with out all his encouragement and support.
I would highly recommend tony as he is a brillant instructor and i dont think i could have passed with out all of his help

I’ve passed my test today and it’s all down to Tony. Had other instructors in the past but not one of them could teach me like him. He really gets through to you in a way nobody else can and dare I say but I will miss having my lessons and the laughs with him. Cant Recommend Tony enough. Passed my driving test first time. Having Done a lesson with another driving instructor who i didn’t find helpful, I decided to switch and could have made a better choice. Tony is an excellent teacher, who makes you feel relaxed and constantly tells jokes. I now have my own car and tony has given me the freedom to be able to drive it. He is a true gentleman.
Just passed my test today having taken my lessons with Tony. He is an absolutely brilliant teacher – I was really nervous at first, having had bad experiences with other instructors. He is funny which gets you relaxed as soon as you step into the car, and he is so patient – no matter how often you make the same silly mistake, he never loses his cool.
I am now out on the road, driving my own car, and I have managed that in under a year thanks to Tony. I always looked forward to my lessons with him and I would recommend him 100% to anybody who wants a professional, friendly and kind person to teach them how to drive.

Tony is a fantastic driving instructor who is patient and relaxed, which is really helpful when you are first learning to drive. I had all my lessons with him, and passed my test first time. I can honestly that it was down to Tony’s expertise. He taught the entire family to drive and I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks Tony! ☺️
I was a complete beginner in March of this year, and spent 3 months (6 lessons) with another ADI instructor and honestly felt like I was going nowhere with my lessons (I still couldn’t remember to go back into first gear after stopping at lights etc.).

I can’t express how highly I would recommend Tony. I had put off driving for years, but from the first moment I got in the car with him I felt at ease and excited to learn how to drive. His laid-back nature, quick wit and experience made the whole process enjoyable. He is a very natural teacher and never allows you to feel overwhelmed or incapable. He tells some great stories too 🙂

Just passed my test today thanks to Tony! He is such a brilliant instructor and I would recommend EVERYONE to take him!.. He gives you clear instructions and makes you feel extremely confident as a driver. He really has your best interest at heart! only 3 weekend lessons with Tony and I got my test today. Very patient man. Very clear. Covered all aspects of the test routes so everything was familiar on the day for me. A lot of respect for Tony ,very good at his job. Wasted money on cowboys of instructors before who give me to much info and I was overloaded. Tony just does what you need to know and in doing so he avoids confusing you. Brillant guy and I definately will be recommending him. Best of luck in the luck in the future Tony .x

I did my lessons with Tony and passed my driving test first time. He always made me feel confident and at ease when behind the wheel. I never felt nervous when I was in the car with Tony as he kept me calm and built up my confidence, I even looked forward to the weekly lessons 😀

Thank you Thank you Thank you… couldn’t believe it when driving tester told me I had passed, Thanks Tony for having more faith in me than I did in myself. I couldn’t have asked for more patient instructor! When I started with you I was a nervous wreck.. Am a confident driver now.. Who would have believed it!! It felt like it took long time for the penny to drop with me though was so worth passing test first time around!! Would recommend nobody else if had to do it again!

I’ve had a few lessons on and off over the years with different instructors. I just had a couple of two hour lessons with Tony before my test. I really learned a lot with Tony. His funny relaxed manner put me at ease about the test. He also gave very good practical advise about driving in general which I found very useful. Thanks to Tony I passed my test!!! Thank Tony 🙂
Done a week of lessons with tony on the build up to the test.Straight forward talker,swept away all the mis-information i was given including from other instructors, put everything clear and accessable,and made me confident in what was required and how to go about doing it.Passed the test with plenty to spare.Can’t recommend him enough, terrific Instructor, and a total gent and great company for an hour a day!!!
I passed my test today, and I just want to say a huge thank Tony for being so helpful. He helped me to work on my reversing, which was diabolical, and gave me lots of tips on how to position my car etc… He’s a cool guy and kept me relaxed and focused and gave me confidence. I’ve had other instructors and felt I was paying them for nothing. I had failed 2 tests in Rathgar and decided to try Dublin instead, I learned so much from my lessons and pretests with Tony. I drove from Shankill just to go to him. He came highly recommended and I have to say he’s just brilliant. I would recommend him to anyone!!! Tony is the man!
what can i say about tony? hes an absolute gem, i passed my test today, failed test twice in the last year and he was recommended 2 me, didnt know Dublin at all so was a nervous wreck, being 9 months pregnant didnt help either, i was beyond petrified. tonys relaxed and friendly manner put me so at ease. i had 4 pretests in the last week with him, passed with only one grade 2, thrilled, would never have passed without tony, will be recomending him to every1 i know, nicest, most friendly, professional helpful man, im still buzzing from passing and owe it all to tony, keep up the good work and thank you so very very much, my pal, tracey xxx

I passed my test in Dublin today first time, I would have never taught 4 and a half months ago I would sit and pass my full license test and it was all down to you Tony! High five Tony!! After all my family and friends passed first time with Tony and I was about to sit my third driving test, I had to contact him. None of the other instructers have a patch on him. I would advise anyone that is looking to pass their test contact him…he made me feel calm, confident and we even had a giggle now and then…superb!!

Hip Hip Hooray for Tony! Passed my driving test first time today in Dublin, thanks to Tony. Thanks a mil Tony, I felt prepared and confident going into the test centre today…after years of feeling like a brutal driver!! Your chilled out personality and good sense of humour made learning to drive easy..and good craic too!

Just passed my driving test first time round today thanks to Tony. Tony is an excellent driving instructor who manages to put you at ease the minute you get into the car. Just passed my driving test first time round today thanks to Tony. Tony is an excellent driving instructor. He never failed to make driving lessons fun and enjoyable and I always looked forward to the lessons. He ensured I was prepared for my test. He is so patient and remained calm throughout all of my lessons even when I gave him reason to panic. In January 2011, I got into Tony’s AtoZ Driving car and was sitting in a driving seat for the first time in my whole life. Six months later, I passed my test in the Dublin test centre. In the intervening months, Tony brought me from being terrified, awkward and skeptical of my own abilities to being a confident driver who can pack her two baby boys into the back of the car and head off wherever our mood takes us. Learning to drive with Tony and subsequently passing my test has changed my life, giving me a liberty that I will never take for granted, having known life reliant upon public transport. Tony is a fantastic instructor! I didn’t feel at all comfortable before my pretests with him but after just two hours wth him i went and passed my test! Absolute gentleman! I’d recommend him to anyone!

Tony is simply the best. He should win an award for his endless patience, and his ability to give confidence to even the most nervous of drivers. He is a natural teacher and communicator. He is the king of calm, and is perfect for beginners. Both my sister and I passed our tests first time, all owing to Tony’s skills. The best part is that the lessons are always fun. I can’t recommend him enough. Thanks for everything Tony, I miss ya already.

Tony is the best in the business!! I passed my test 1st time thanks to Tony! His chilled out attitude really does help when you are learning! Coming up 2 the test he left no stone unturned and covers all areas of the test in full!

If someone had told me a few months ago that I’d pass my test first time I wouldn’t have been able to take them seriously, I was really really nervous about driving and even just after I had booked my first lesson with Tony I thought about cancelling just because I didn’t think I was somebody that could learn to drive. Tony was so calm and patient even when I repeated my mistakes over and over again. He was so easygoing and funny too that my nerves weren’t able to get in the way of me learning to drive properly. Today I passed my test first time and I’m finding it hard to believe that a few months ago all I knew how to use in a car was a seatbelt! I’m really glad I didn’t give up on learning to drive before I’d even started and I’m really really glad I got Tony to teach me, Thanks so much for everything Tony, Caoimhe 🙂
After failing my test 9 times over the past 10 years I was pretty much a nervous wreck at the thought of ever taking a test again. Tony was then recommended to me & I passed no problem with only two faults on my test sheet & an examiner who couldn’t believe that I’d failed so often. The improvement in my driving & confidence is purely down to Tony’s teaching methods. I’d highly recommend him to anyone.

Tony is a brilliant driving instructor! He is highly punctual and very accommodating at short notice. His knowledge of test roots is undoubtable, which helps greatly for pre test preparation. His attention to detail is extremely helpful and key for a successful test There is a calm relaxed atmosphere every time you sit into the car with him, which is down to his light hearted personality. I would highly reccommend Tony to anyone, learner or otherwise.

I recently passed my test thanks to Tony. I heard about him from friends who had all passed the first time under Tonys instruction. I had to basically learn to drive again as i had so many bad habits. I started pre-test two weeks before my test and Tony taught me everything I needed to know. He is a brilliant teacher and I would recommend him to anyone.
An excellent driving instructor, I really couldn’t of asked for better.
I had been to two other driving instructors before I went to Tony and he was the best by a long shot. I would definitely recommend him to any of my friends or relatives. He has a natural ability to make you feel at ease in the car and you’ll be amazed at how much you can learn from him (while also having a laugh along the way)

Congrats Tony!!! I am thankful to Tony for helping me to get used to with the Roads and the Rules of Ireland….. As I was new to the country and wasnt aware of the Rules, He gave me a good practice on the Road and cuz of his expertise in training I got my Irish Licence in one go…..

I contacted him but he was unavailable then so he referred me to his instructor Carmel. With inly 3 lessons with Carmel in the span of 5 days I was able to correct all bad things I had learnt about driving and learn better methods to further help me. With this help I was finally able to pass my test at Mulhuddart.

Tony has been great to me throughout these lessons, I literally did not know anything about a car before these lessons. I thought I’d never be able to drive a car in general, let alone a manual. I just passed my first driving test with A-Z. Tony is an amazing instructor. Felt comfortable in the car with him from day 1, never an issue making a mistake he finds a funny way for you to remember not to do it again. Makes everything easy to understand, and gives you a good laugh along the way to getting your full license! cant thank him enough. He also nailed my route in the pre-test.

1st Time Passing my test after only 18 lessons 8 months Driving Experience! From shaking at the wheel to driving with ease it could only of been done with Tony. Thanks to Tony, I finally passed my driving test after 6 years, 2 babies and 2 failed tests. Tony is a calm and focused instructor, and puts me at ease with the wheel. I have driven for years on the left hand side all my life, so I had to re-set my mind. He covers all the questions I raised, and the tricky ones as I was not used to having round-about rules from where I am from.

Just passed my test today having taken my lessons with Tony. He is an absolutely brilliant teacher – I was really nervous at first, having had bad experiences with other instructors. He is funny which gets you relaxed as soon as you step into the car, and he is so patient – no matter how often you make the same silly mistake, he never loses his cool.
I am now out on the road, driving my own car, and I have managed that in under a year thanks to Tony. I always looked forward to my lessons with him and I would recommend him 100% to anybody who wants a professional, friendly and kind person to teach them how to drive.

only 3 weekend lessons with Tony and I got my test today. Very patient man. Very clear. Covered all aspects of the test routes so everything was familiar on the day for me. A lot of respect for Tony ,very good at his job. Wasted money on cowboys of instructors before who give me to much info and I was overloaded. Tony just does what you need to know and in doing so he avoids confusing you. Brillant guy and I definately will be recommending him. Best of luck in the luck in the future Tony .x

I can’t express how highly I would recommend Tony. I had put off driving for years, but from the first moment I got in the car with him I felt at ease and excited to learn how to drive. His laid-back nature, quick wit and experience made the whole process enjoyable. He is a very natural teacher and never allows you to feel overwhelmed or incapable. He tells some great stories too 🙂

Well Tony your defiantly one in a million! I started lessons with Tony a few months ago, I was a really nervous beginner and Tony put me right at ease. what can i say about tony? hes an absolute gem, i passed my test today, failed test twice in the last year and he was recommended 2 me, didnt know Dublin at all so was a nervous wreck, being 9 months pregnant didnt help either, i was beyond petrified. tonys relaxed and friendly manner put me so at ease. i had 4 pretests in the last week with him, passed with only one grade 2, thrilled, would never have passed without tony, will be recomending him to every1 i know, nicest, most friendly, professional helpful man, im still buzzing from passing and owe it all to tony, keep up the good work and thank you so very very much, my pal, tracey xxx
I passed my test today, and I just want to say a huge thank Tony for being so helpful. He helped me to work on my reversing, which was diabolical, and gave me lots of tips on how to position my car etc… He’s a cool guy and kept me relaxed and focused and gave me confidence. I’ve had other instructors and felt I was paying them for nothing. I had failed 2 tests in Rathgar and decided to try Dublin instead, I learned so much from my lessons and pretests with Tony. I drove from Shankill just to go to him. He came highly recommended and I have to say he’s just brilliant. I would recommend him to anyone!!! Tony is the man!

I’ve had a few lessons on and off over the years with different instructors. I just had a couple of two hour lessons with Tony before my test. I really learned a lot with Tony. 19 reviewsAfter failing my test 9 times over the past 10 years I was pretty much a nervous wreck at the thought of ever taking a test again. Tony was then recommended to me & I passed no problem with only two faults on my test sheet & an examiner who couldn’t believe that I’d failed so often. The improvement in my driving & confidence is purely down to Tony’s teaching methods. I’d highly recommend him to anyone.
If someone had told me a few months ago that I’d pass my test first time I wouldn’t have been able to take them seriously, I was really really nervous about driving and even just after I had booked my first lesson with Tony I thought about cancelling just because I didn’t think I was somebody that could learn to drive. Tony was so calm and patient even when I repeated my mistakes over and over again. He was so easygoing and funny too that my nerves weren’t able to get in the way of me learning to drive properly. Today I passed my test first time and I’m finding it hard to believe that a few months ago all I knew how to use in a car was a seatbelt! I’m really glad I didn’t give up on learning to drive before I’d even started and I’m really really glad I got Tony to teach me, Thanks so much for everything Tony, Caoimhe 🙂

I had my driving test yesterday in Dublin and passed first time. Tony is a brilliant instructor. He is very patient and gives you so much confidence he really makes you believe in yourself, he is really chilled out and this definitely helped because i was a nervous wreck before the test. I cant give him enough praise. Hes just an amazing teacher. I would recommend Tony to anyone. I wouldnt of passed without his help!

I passed my test in Dublin yesterday and I want to thank Tony for his endless patience and the thoroughness of his lessons. He is such a great teacher and very professional as well as putting a nervous pupil like me at ease. Tony is simply the best. He should win an award for his endless patience, and his ability to give confidence to even the most nervous of drivers. He is a natural teacher and communicator. He is the king of calm, and is perfect for beginners. Both my sister and I passed our tests first time, all owing to Tony’s skills. The best part is that the lessons are always fun. I did my first driving test 3 weeks ago using another driving instructor and failed but after just 1 lesson and 2 pretests with Tony I felt calmer and more relaxed about the test. He came in to me before the test and calmed my nerves. Its really fun and easy to drive with Tony and I really recommend him for anyone looking to pass their test with ease. Thanks a mill Tony 😀

Tony is a fantastic instructor! I didn’t feel at all comfortable before my pretests with him but after just two hours wth him i went and passed my test! Absolute gentleman! I’d recommend him to anyone!
In January 2011, I got into Tony’s AtoZ Driving car and was sitting in a driving seat for the first time in my whole life. Six months later, I passed my test in the Dublin test centre. In the intervening months, Tony brought me from being terrified, awkward and skeptical of my own abilities to being a confident driver who can pack her two baby boys into the back of the car and head off wherever our mood takes us. Learning to drive with Tony and subsequently passing my test has changed my life, giving me a liberty that I will never take for granted, having known life reliant upon public transport. The sessions were calm and relaxed ! He never got scared jumpy and was always patient when i made a mistake, it takes guts to be that chilled out ! I had 2 instructors before being told to go to tony and without him I am sure i would not of passed ! I would and am recommending him to everyone 🙂

I started driving over year ago with a different instructor and failed two tests in that time.I decided to change to Tony and today i passed my test with only two marks against me.

Having Tony teach you is having the most experienced, patient, and calming person deliver the most content rich lessons out there. I’ve had other teachers – all good – but Tony brings a higher standard of teaching. Not only would I recommend him I would insist that any one I know ensure they have their lessons from him! 🙂

Tony was recommended to me by my sister. And i would recommend him to anyone. Whether a new driver or someone just looking to brush up on your driving before a test.
He is a very good instructor. It is a very relaxed athmosphere with tony, and a lot of fun too. He thought me how to drive initially (4 lessons is all it took). And again i took a few lessons with him pre-test and i passed it thanks to him.

Tony is a brilliant driving instructor! He is highly punctual and very accommodating at short notice. His knowledge of test roots is undoubtable, which helps greatly for pre test preparation. His attention to detail is extremely helpful and key for a successful test There is a calm relaxed atmosphere every time you sit into the car with him, which is down to his light hearted personality. I would highly reccommend Tony to anyone, learner or otherwise.

I’ve only just started driving lessons with tony, as a nervous starter, tony always relaxes me before i start that now i look forward to my lessons. I even have 3 booked with him this week alone, really happy with the service Tony is providing me and really happy with how i’m progressing.
A friend recommended Tony to me and I was very right to follow her advise. I got my driving licence years ago and never really drove. Tony taught me everything really quickly. He is a fantastic teacher, very clear, professional and calm and the way he teaches particular skills is excellent. I had never though I would be able to drive on my own, feel in control of the car and enjoy it too! Now I do actually like to drive and it’s great! Thanks a mill Tony and all the best!

I started doing pretests with Tony a week and a half before my test. I basically needed to start from scratch as I had never had a proper driving lesson before. I would recommend Tony to anybody because he is the best. The second I sat in the car he said it was no longer my driving test it was ours. He has such patience and makes you feel at ease. Tony is a great instructor, he is always aware and ready for any situation you may encounter on the road, his years of experience are obvious in that he manages to teach while maintaining a calm and considerate manner. If anyone can teach me how to drive its Tony.

I would highly recomment Tony and A TO Z. Extremely patient, flexible and most importantly, knows what he is doing. He covers everything in lessons and pre tests and makes you feel calm when your under pressure. No complaints what so ever.

I had been to two other driving instructors before I went to Tony and he was the best by a long shot. I would definitely recommend him to any of my friends or relatives. He has a natural ability to make you feel at ease in the car and you’ll be amazed at how much you can learn from him (while also having a laugh along the way)

I recently passed my test thanks to Tony. I heard about him from friends who had all passed the first time under Tonys instruction. I had to basically learn to drive again as i had so many bad habits. I started pre-test two weeks before my test and Tony taught me everything I needed to know. He is a brilliant teacher and I would recommend him to anyone.

When I started people wouldn’t give me a stick to drive cattle, I was a nervous wreak, never thought I’d get on the road. Then i took my lessons With Tony, He make you feel so relaxed and confidant. A brilliant driving instructor and a wonderful man. Thanks Pal
I’m the first to admit that I was a nervous starter, but Tony put me at my ease straight away – I couldn’t believe that by the end of my first lesson I was out on the open road! Tony is a absolutely fab driving instructor! He made the whole learning to drive experience relaxed and enjoyable with his good humour and wit. He is an extremely patient instructor and in my case instilled in me belief in my ability to pass the driving test. I had lessons with another driving school prior to Tony being recommended to me by a number of my neighbours who passed their test with Tony as their instructor. There definitely is no comparison.
