When the driver in front is turning right, when you intend to turn left, or when vehicles in the lane on your right are moving more slowly.

Mirror and signal, then move into the right-hand lane when clear, keeping left of the centerline. When a safe gap occurs, complete your turn without cutting the corner, and always give way to pedestrians crossing.

You cannot enter unless your way ahead is clear, except when turning right. You can enter and wait in the box if you are not obstructing other traffic.

There will be one or two continuous white lines ahead.

Use them like a traffic island; do not enter.
